RUTA Maià de Montcal and Santa Magdalena In the Main Square of MAIA de MONTCAL, it is already indicated Santa MADALENA. During the road there are very well indicated different doubtful crossings. By car, the 4 km of ascension are accomplished in some 10'. One must know that it is a quite inhabited zone, so the unasphaltic road is perfectly passable. The road ends at the top of the hill. Immediately, there are the Farmhouse and the Church, which cannot be visited because they are private property. However, it is worth seeing the panoramic on the Roses Bay and its surroundings. Feelings of intrusion advise us to promenade away from the Farmhouse. If the excursion is on foot, it is much more agreeable the tour to the different country houses that populate the mountain and the views on the Maià valley. It takes approximately 1h to do the way up and 1/2h to descent.
